Niall, Cameron, and I had a fantastic week, each taking on roles alongside an amazing team of volunteers. We provided devices and scored each category, witnessing firsthand the incredible level of golf, sportsmanship, and competition. The atmosphere was both spectacular and inspiring, with never a dull moment and always smiles all around. We even had the honor of leaving our names on a bit of history, making the week even more special.

The Special Olympics isn’t just about competition; it’s about breaking down barriers, celebrating inclusion, and fostering a love for sport in everyone. The atmosphere at Bad Saarow during the event was electric, as golfers, coaches, families, and spectators came together to cheer on the athletes. The event left a lasting impact on the club and highlighted the importance of inclusivity in sports, showing that golf is a game for everyone, regardless of ability.
